Wonderful stay at Burns Beach
Booked the Southside room from 3-8 Dec and I'm so glad I booked this establishment over some other hotels in Joondalup.  Graham and Kath had taken over the establishment and the service provided by the lovely couple is simply wonderful.  Essentially, the Burns Beach Bed & Breakfast is a two-storey bungalow with the lower levels reserved exclusively for guests. The upper floors are reserved for Graham and Kath, their kids and their dogs. Actually, I would have love to see their dogs as I'm a dog lover too. However, you shouldn't worry about the dogs as you can't hear them barking at all and they don't come down to the lower levels. The Southside room is nicely furnished with a HUGE 60" Samsung LCD TV (Not 52" as indicated in their website), Samsung 3D Blu-Ray Player and Foxtel Satellite Cable TV. There's an in-room digital safe, iron and ironing board which is essential for any business traveller and a well-stocked bar fridge which is bigger than most hotels. The Southside room is unique as it opens up to the outdoor patio giving you a wonderful view of the beautiful gardens and putting green outside. On the day of checking in, I came in late as my flight was delayed by 4hrs and I couldn't collect my rental car as I left my driver's license at home. So, by the time I reached the B&B, it was already 1am. Fortunately, I messaged Graham earlier and he gave me detailed instructions as to how I can come into my room.  As I couldn't get my rental car, Graham was kind enough to offer me a lift to the ECU where my conference was held. As there are guests in the house and I didn't want to impose on them, he managed to call a cab for me. Graham, if you're reading this review, these are the little things which made my stay better and I thank you for it :) There's daily breakfast freshly made by Kath and Graham and it's included in the package.  Overall, I'm really glad I booked this place during my stay here and like all the other reviewers, I'll definitely come back here again if I'm ever visiting Perth. Thanks Graham and Kath for making my stay here so memorable.

Fantastic stay over Christmas
My wife, sister and brother in law and myself stayed here for four nights over Christmas and had a great time. The owners, Kath and Graham, are lovely friendly people who make the perfect hosts. The room was extremely comfortable with a lovely big, comfy bed, big TV, lovely big bathroom.  Outside is a huge hot tub and deck area and a very pretty little garden with a mini putting course, all perfect for relaxing and having a drink etc. Breakfast was very good; fresh fruit and yogurt and then a choice of cooked options and of course toast with tea and coffee.  The location is very good, the nearby beach is only a 2 or 3 minute walk, and there is a very nice walking / jogging / cycling track that goes to Iluka and I think all the way to Mullalloo beach. By car, you are close to various shops, taverns and restaurants. All in all, a great upmarket B&B that I would definitely use again and would recommend highly.

Great little place!

Stayed for 4 nights over Christmas with my family from the UK. Kath and Graham (new owners) were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The way the B&B is set up meant that we were not encroaching on their privacy and we were able to use all the amenities, including the spa, and not feel awkward! The location is perfect - close to the park, beach, shopping centres etc. Thanks for a great start to my family's holiday!

What a beautiful location for such an elegant and luxurious bed and breakfast. Every detail was thought of, and presented beautifully. The biggest bed I've ever slept in, and extremely comfortable. High quality fixtures and every possible need was provided for. Clean and smells wonderful, with big fluffy towels, heating/air conditioning and even a big telly! Loved it and will...

Graham and Kathy provided a homely well-maintained abode. They couldn't do enough for their guests without being intrusive. Great selection for breakfast. Lovely furnishings. Foxtel, wi-fi, beautiful ensuites, courtyards, decking, spa, common room, close to beach. If we are back in WA this is the place we will be staying. A very pleasant experience indeed. Thank you.
